and that it will prevent any misunderstandings regarding school policies and
procedures. Despite our earnest efforts,
it is impossible to cover every aspect of all school programs or contingencies
that may develop. We reserve the right
to change or adapt policies or procedures that are in the best interest of
our students. I strongly suggest that
you and your parents read the handbook together and keep it at hand for a
quick reference. I

GUIDE FOR STUDENTS (GO TO LIST) Should you need assistance with any of the
following areas, you may contact the person/office listed below:
JCCHS STUDENT HANDBOOK Agendas should be in the possession of students
at all times during the school day. Agendas are used for planning, goal setting,
organizing homework and assignments, and as a student hall pass.
Students without an agenda will not be allowed out of any classroom
without administrative approval. GENERAL INFORMATION This section of the handbook
includes several topics of general information that you will need to know. In addition to selected general information
in this section, other sections of the handbook provide specific information
on topics such as academics and instruction, attendance, etc. Attendance is compulsory at
all classes unless one is participating in a school-authorized activity or
work study program. Students are expected to arrive at school and for all
classes punctually. During the school day students are required to follow
all school policies, attend assigned class schedules and lunch periods, and
follow instructions of administrators, teachers, and staff. For additional information concerning attendance
refer to the SCHOOL ATTENDANCE section of his handbook. Radios, tape players, cameras,
beepers, etc., are not permitted DURING SCHOOL HOURS. Students may have walkman radios/tapes before/after
school. These items if seen during
the school hours will be confiscated and parents may pick them up at their
convenience. No bulletins, posters, advertisements,
etc., shall be posted anywhere in the building except on the bulletin boards
after it has been approved by the principal. School buses are provided by the taxpayers
