toward tuition for full time students and $1500 for half time students.
No book allowance is provided.
What
do parents and students have to do to apply for the HOPE scholarship?
In order to apply for the HOPE scholarship, parents
and students have to complete one of two options. We strongly suggest
parents and students do both. Students and parents should complete the
Free Application for Student Federal Aid (FAFSA). Students should complete
the E-HOPE application on line with the Georgia School Finance Commission
or submit the paper version. For more information visit
the Georgia School Finance Commission website.
- Students and parents should complete the FAFSA as
soon as possible beginning in January of the students' senior year.
The counseling department usually receives the paper version of the
FAFSA in December. Students and parents may complete the paper version,
or may complete the FAFSA
online. Income tax information from the previous year is necessary
in order to complete the FAFSA, though the tax forms do not have to
be filed in order to submit the FAFSA.
- Students should complete the Georgia School Finance
Commission's E-HOPE application during their senior year. Here are the
steps to take [printer

The school uploads transcripts to the Georgia School
Finance Commission (GSFC.) The GSFC calculates the HOPE grade point average. |
