    Jackson EMC Three Scholarships Scholarships:
  • Walter Harrison Scholarship: a statewide scholarship sponsored by Georgia EMC awarded based on financial need and academic ability.
  • A.T. Sharpton Gainesville College Scholarship: awarded to students planning to attend Gainesville College. Although financial need is a primary consideration, judges also consider academic average, standardized test scores, and faculty recommendation.
  • A.T. Sharpton Unrestricted Scholarship: awarded to students enrolled in any accredited U.S. college or university. Judges consider financial need; however, academic average, standardized test scores, and/or faculty recommendations are of equal or greater importance.

  • Must be attending an accredited technical trade school in Georgia and pursuing a 2-year or 4-year institution
