College SAT Preparation

Due to lack of funds, the state will end this service on November 1, 2010

The Governor's Office and the Georgia Department of Education have arranged to provide public high school students free access to the official SAT online course administered by the College Board. To access this course, students should do the following:

  • Obtain the high school code from the counseling office
  • Go to www.collegeboard.com/satonlinecourseschool
  • In the "Students" box, click "Register now."
  • Enter the student access code you obtained in the counseling office..
  • If the student is already registered with the College Board website, he/she can use that account to sign in to the test preparation. If a student has not already registered, click "Sign Up" on the bottom right hand side of the screen.
  • Select "Student," then "Submit."
  • A reminder: If you plan to attend a technical college, you should take the ASSET instead of the SAT or ACT.
